1. Processing of Personal Data
AMIC S.A. (“AMIC”), located at San Salvador de Jujuy 1305 lot 173, Carlos Spegazzini, Buenos Aires Province, informs users that the collection and processing of personal data are carried out in accordance with Law No. 25.326 on Personal Data Protection, its Regulatory Decree No. 1558/2001, and other complementary regulations (collectively, the “Personal Data Protection Regulations”). Providing the requested data implies the express acceptance of the following terms and conditions.
The user expressly consents to AMIC collecting, storing, processing, using, and, where applicable, transferring their personal data in accordance with this Policy.
2. Purposes of Personal Data Processing
The personal data and other information voluntarily provided by the user to AMIC through the website may be used for the following purposes:
1. To send information, promotions, and commercial offers of products or services that may be of interest, including product recovery or replacement.
2. To personalize and improve the products and services offered by AMIC.
3. To conduct internal analyses and statistics on website usage and user satisfaction.
4. To evaluate candidates for job opportunities. Personal data will be retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the aforementioned purposes or until the data subject requests its deletion.
3. Rights of Access, Rectification, Update, and Deletion
The data subject may, upon proof of identity, exercise their rights of access, rectification, update, and deletion of their data in accordance with Articles 14 and 16 of Law No. 25.326. The Agency for Access to Public Information, the controlling body of Law No. 25.326, is authorized to handle complaints and claims filed by those affected by non-compliance with data protection regulations. 4. Use of Cookies and Similar Technologies
AMIC uses cookies and similar technologies to improve users’ website experience, analyze browsing patterns, and optimize content. Cookies are small text files stored on the user’s device that allow their browser to be recognized on future visits. 6. Requirements from Competent Authorities
AMIC may disclose users’ personal information if required by judicial or administrative authorities, or if it believes in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to comply with legal obligations or to protect the rights, property, or safety of AMIC, its employees, or the public. In such cases, AMIC commits to disclosing only the information strictly necessary to fulfill such requirements.
7. Security and Data Storage
AMIC aplica medidas técnicas, administrativas y organizativas adecuadas para proteger los datos personales frente a accesos no autorizados, pérdida, alteración o destrucción.
However, the user acknowledges that no Internet transmission or storage can guarantee absolute security; therefore, AMIC will not be liable for illegal interceptions or unauthorized access by third parties.
8. Jurisdiction and Applicable Law
Any dispute arising from the interpretation or compliance of this Policy shall be governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic and resolved before the competent courts of AMIC S.A.’s registered domicile, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction that may apply.
